Tell me about how you originally got into your craft, Amelia.
I have always been making things ever since I could remember. I remember as a child trying to construct a haunted maze out of waste boxes, a gym for my pet rabbits, and roller skates! So it wasn’t too difficult for me to decide what I want to study and pursue (Architecture & Product Design). However my Etsy endeavour was actually inspired by my experience working with teenagers in the Bronx for a non-profit organization. I was familiarized with laser cutting technology and was involved in creating a variety of projects with Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs.

Hanging out with my little family, my husband, son and my dog in the park.
What is your biggest challenge when it comes to running your business?
Having to learn everything outside the actual making of my products (ie.accounting, marketing, sales) and finding the time to do it by myself.
When you were a kid, what did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

What does your future hold?
I would love to have my studio and business expanded yet still have quality time for my family. I can't wait to have finished updating our 20th century home and enjoying my then-cozy backyard with my family and friends.
