Tell me about how you originally got into your craft.
lets see, i'm just another starving artist, i was trained in photography, but 2D was just too flat and so i keep trying to find ways to make photos 3D. all this led me to sewing photographs to fabric and making photos into fabric. so i guess i just got curious about actually working with actual fibers. now i have this deep love for weaving, felting, sewing, and making things that adorne the body and the gallery walls. i also love hula hooping. i studied belly dance for a little while, it was so beautiful and so controlled that i came to the understanding that i'm such a spaz, and so hooping makes way more sense for me. anyways i feel in love with tribal belly dance/hula hoop clothing, so i just stated making my own. my fantasy world would have a happy hour in which Laura Angles, Stevie Nicks, Nico, Mae West, Calamity Jane, and myself meet up at least once a week in some out of the way place to have lemon balm juleps and discuss, well, everything. so because i have a rich fantasy life, i've been creating things like fascinators and pantaloons, because life's too short not to wear these things or live a rich fantasy life. well that's a little bit about me.
