Tell me about how you originally got into your craft, Charlotte.
Gracious - it's mighty hard to pin point a date. I've always sewn - whether it was for Barbie, friends or family. In 8th grade in Home Ec - I had to create an outfit. It won First place in an Arts Award! I was forever hooked!

What is your favorite thing to do in the whole wide world?
My most favorite thing in the whole entire world is day tripping with my family! I love being around them and the three of us have such a great time together. We all love to laugh. I'm the serious one - so they bring out the fun in me!

What is your biggest challenge when it comes to running your business?
My biggest challenge is promoting locally. I'm such the introvert. I just don't push my name around locally like I should AND I'm terrified of doing local shows! Selling on-line is my comfort zone. I need to step out of that - more often!

What item in your shop would you most like to receive as a gift if someone were shopping for you?
Definitely this or my checkbook wallet - I cannot live without mine.

When you were a kid, what did you think you were going to be when you grew up?
Oh, I'm one of those "side winders" - the only thing I knew I wanted to do - is travel! I joined the military a couple of years out of school. Moved around the US a little and returned home! I've still got that "itch" to move about! Thank goodness my husband's feet are firmly planted! Lizzie is like me - she would move at a moment's notice! I love learning about new places and people! So inspiring!

What does your future hold?
Hmmmm - I wish I were psychic at times! Wouldn't that make SOME things easier - while other things difficult!

I'm hoping the future holds my family remaining safe and sound. Lizzie finishing up school and we enjoying the summer months ahead!

Sewing - will always be in my future! That's a part of who I am!
