TRASHGLAM: Handmade one of a kind limited edition clothing & accessories.
Express your individuality 'cause life's too short to be one-dimensional.

Tell me about how you originally got into your craft, Hexy.
It all started out when I couldn't find anything that combined all my life experiences & passion into something wearable. I am heavily influenced by the Japanese alternative scene & fantasy which are the solid aesthetics behind most of my constructions. So I combined my love for punk 80s subculture with my love for Avant Garde/couture wear, thus the birth of my label “Trashglam”.
I am inspired by fictional characters, art & Powerful, dominant women. People who are not afraid to be themselves! Color, emotions, history and most importantly fun filled adventures! All these things have had a deep impact on all of my designs. I am not your traditional Fashion designer & it’s refreshing.

What is your favorite thing to do in the whole wide world?
Girl power, Japanese fashion & culture, conspiracy & cryptozoology.

"One woman show" time management.
There is never enough time to get everything done, especially if you do everything yourself.
I am proud that I do it all from scratch & at times it's draining and requires more time then I can imagine, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Plus my cats keep me company but if only the house can clean itself lol
When you were a kid, what did you think you were going to be when you grew up?
Hahaha funny thing is I used to dress up my brothers & cousins every time they came over. I would have a dance number all ready for them to rehearse too. Most were to Michael Jackson's music (I would get in trouble for destroying clothes but eventually got videoed for a good laugh). I wanted to be a creator, a musician & a dancer. So technically I am living part of a dream.
What item in your collection would you like to receive as a gift if someone were shopping for you?
That's a hard one............. Without sounding vain..... all of them!
I truly love every piece I design and sometimes it's hard to part from it when the extravagant pieces you worked on for so long get sold.

Where do I start?
I am inspired by so many talented people, From art to fashion, music to movies.
Old skool artists from Michael Jackson to TLC
Korn, Nirvana, Lara croft, Spice girls, anime, Angelspit,
Issey Miyake, yoshiki hishinuma, George Carlin, H. R. Giger, Tim Burton etc etc
What does your future hold?
Many awesome adventures, lots of success, Diva stardom (laughs at self) and most importantly a healthy & happy future.
